There’s no better way to learn about the culture of our Texas Hill Country than to attend one of our community events.
For example, every Saturday morning, you can buy fresh garden produce, flowers, plants, baked goods, coffees, teas and crafts and talk with area residents at the Farmer’s Market in Llano located a mile from Riverway RV Park. This weekly event is staged in Grenwelge Park across from the public library.
On Saturday, July 27, the Castell Volunteer Fire Department will put on a great barbecue for the whole area. This is their one fundraiser for the year and is held at the Castell Community Center from 6 p.m. until the food is gone. Over 8,000 people made it out last year, so come join the fun this year. This is a delicious way to donate to an incredibly important. Castell is located west of our park on Highway 152.
Remember, our 20-acre park is located on the beautiful Llano River just a half-mile from the Llano Golf Course. Our park has become a Winter Texan hotspot but is popular year-round.
This is just a taste of what we have to offer in the Texas Hill Country. We’ll explore more about our region and our park in future blogs. Please visit us on Facebook or our website at www.riverwayrvpark.com and plan to stay with us real soon.
